In addition to our engineering consultancy services, we also develop in-house our own simulation technology for both the transportation and wind industries. RomaxDesigner is the advanced simulation environment for the transportation industries and RomaxWind is the industry specific package and is used by wind turbine gearbox manufacturers, wind turbine system providers and wind turbine owners/operators.

We don’t call RomaxDesigner “software” as we believe that this term doesn’t represent the true quality and value of the product. RomaxDesigner is a high-end computer aided engineering package, and is not on the same shelf as an operating system or word processing software.

We have expert software and R&D teams team in-house who work closely with our clients and also carry out extensive R&D so we can ensure our technology is always at the cutting edge.

 

We use a whole system approach in developing our simulation technology - it can be used for system engineering and optimisation. We can consider the whole system, all the components and their interactions and effects on each other. This enables fast and accurate results without the need to switch between many different software packages.
