CX-Supervisor is dedicated to the design and operation of PC
visualisation and machine control. It is not only simple to use for small
supervisory and control tasks, but it also offers a wealth of power for the
design of the most sophisticated applications.

CX-Supervisor boasts
powerful functions for a wide range of PC based HMI requirements. Simple
applications can be created rapidly with the aid of a large number of predefined
functions and libraries, and even very complex applications can be generated
with a powerful programming language or VB™. CX-Supervisor has an
extremely simple, intuitive handling and high user friendliness. Importing
ActiveX® components makes it possible to create flexible applications and extend
functionality.

CX-Supervisor has a well proven history of being an easy
to use machine visualisation software. With so many features that are normally
only found in much more expensive SCADA packages, CX-Supervisor offers the
ability to quickly, easily and reliably gather data from you machine and display
it in a variety of ways. With the release of CX-Supervisor v3, we have added
even more power and convenience! This has made the product even easier to use
without compromising what you can achieve with the software.

The
following is new in this release:
* Web Based Remote Maintenance: A
standard set of web pages that allow common operations to be carried out
remotely using a web browser. For example, monitoring and acknowledging alarms,
monitoring and setting point values, monitoring the error log etc.
* A
completely new Data Log Viewer with significantly enhanced functionality
including improved panning, zooming, automatic spanning of old data files and
shifting of traces for comparison (refer to the Data Log Viewer Help for full
details).
* Using "One Click Simulation", CX-Simulator is now supported
within CX-Supervisor providing the ability to simulate a PLC being connected to
a CX-Supervisor application.
* An improved Colour Palette toolbar is now
included.
* Enhanced image support including support for JPEG and GIF image
formats.
* Picture s now support Transparency.
* Improved support
for ActiveX controls.
* Metafile s can now be converted into
CX-Supervisor s.
* A new ‘Point Substitution’ feature is supported that
allows the points associated with an , or group of s, to be
changed.
* Creation and re-use of smart library s allowing connection
to existing points when s are used.
* New smart graphics library
s including NS Style buttons and lamps.
* A CX-Supervisor application
can now be completely recompiled using the ‘Rebuild All’ feature.
* The
Application Analysis and Performance Monitor functionality has been enhanced
further.
* An optional ‘Fins Gateway 2003’ communications driver is now
supported for Ethernet and Controller Link configurations, giving a direct means
of communication.
* The latest CX-Server Lite & CX-Server OPC
Communication Controls (version 2.0) are also included with this release of
CX-Supervisor.
* Some general user interface
enhancements.
