LMS Test Lab REV10A
LMS Test.Lab
is a complete, integrated solution for test-based engineering, combining
high-speed multi-channel data acquisition with a full suite of integrated
testing, analysis and report-generation tools. LMS Test.Lab is designed to make
testing more efficient and more convenient for each and every user. It is the
ideal tool for testing departments that need to be future-focused: offering the
right balance between ease of use and functional flexibility. LMS Test.Lab
significantly increases a test facility’s productivity, delivering more reliable
results, even when the availability of prototypes is dramatically
reduced.
LMS Test.Lab Revision 10 highlightsLMS
Test.Lab MIMO FRF TESTINGThe new LMS Test.Lab MIMO FRF Testing extends
the modal testing techniques already available in LMS Test.Lab Spectral Testing
and Source Control. With this new solution, users can specify their specific
excitation signals, define a shaped amplitude spectrum and extend the
application to multi-sine excitation.
Periodic random excitation can be
used to obtain the best linear fit for a non-linear system. When real-life
excitations are preferred, users can simply record the time data and import it
into LMS Test.Lab MIMO FRF Testing for replay. Before data replay, the time data
and corresponding power spectral density can be visualized. Scaling and fading
functionalities are fully integrated as well.
LMS Test.Lab Ground
Vibration TestingLMS Test.Lab Ground Vibration Testing Rev 10A
introduces a new coherence plotting functionality, delivering a direct
efficiency benefit for time-consuming and mission critical GVT campaigns. Users
can visualize averaged coherence values of selected frequency bands and easily
identify weak coherence areas. Coherence plots are available on all structural
testing acquisition modules for immediate measurement validation.
LMS
Test.Lab Time Domain TPALMS Test.Lab Rev 10A delivers a brand-new
extension to the renowned LMS Test.Lab Transfer Path Analysis capabilities: LMS
Test.Lab Time Domain TPA. This new application complements frequency domain TPA
and is the perfect solution for transient phenomena analysis. With this
extension, LMS now offers a complete portfolio of TPA solutions for a broad
spectrum of applications.
LMS Test.Lab Sound QualityThe LMS
Test.Lab Rev 10A Sound Quality solution has been extended with new
psycho-acoustic metrics used in the automotive, aerospace, and white goods
sectors. LMS Test.Lab Sound Quality also offers several applications for
creating and customizing specific, in-house metrics.
LMS Test.Lab
Sound IntensityIn LMS Test.Lab Revision 10A, LMS Test.Lab Sound
Intensity’s geometry module has been extended with a 3D acoustic mesh generator.
The new intensity data sheet presents a clear overview of all measured and
processed data, quality indicators and related components. User can easily
analyze, browse and interpret data for sound power, source ranking and sound
source localization.
LMS Test.Lab High Definition Acoustic
CameraFor one-shot interior sound source localization with maximum
accuracy, the new and motorized LMS Test. Lab 3D Acoustic Camera has a laser
that automatically scans the geometry without operator intervention. During the
scanning, pictures are taken to obtain a full 3D photorealistic image of the
vehicle. With this solution, users can spot sources of interior noise problems
with high precision and in record time.

LMS Test.Lab Pass-by
NoiseIn Rev 10A, a new regulation for motorbikes (type L3) based on
ISO362 has been added for both exterior and interior pass-by noise testing. As
prescribed by the ISO standard, minimal one acceleration test and one constant
speed test are required to complete the assessment.
