Creator enables rapid development of compelling interactive 3D applications and content for an enormous range of applications but with a particular focus on Architecture, Education, Interactive Training and Product Presentation & Marketing.

Significantly lowering the cost and time barriers associated with traditional tools for creating interactive 3D media, it is specifically designed for creative artists and media designers. With a rapidly increasing portfolio of Smart s™ and Intelligent Materials™ - drag & drop re-usable components that require no ing or programming knowledge - users of Adobe Creative Suite, Autodesk 3DS Max or Maya, Google SketchUp and a host of other tools, will benefit from Creator"s workflow design.




The Creator user interface comprises an acclaimed integrated development environment and work flow. With Creator, the underlying game and visualization engine is tightly integrated with the development environment editors and toolsets. What you see in the editor during play mode is what you get when you publish.

There is no fussing with multiple external editors and/or disparate tool chains as all the principal editors are available from the main toolbar. The scene editor gives a "what you see is what you get" development environment that allows you to create in the editor, click the "Play" button and instantly run your application. While the application is running or paused, you can adjust animations and properties and immediately see the outcome of these changes.

Principal new features include:
  • Smart s™. Dozens of new drag & drop re-usable components have been added including Smart s™ for Navigation, Cameras, Lights, UI Elements, Game Content, Material Changers, Sketch shaders, Locators and boat controllers among many others.
  • Glass Shaders. Now include colored and translucent shadows through glass, drag & drop handling of real time reflections and refractions, and cubemap refraction calculations.
  • Unified most popular shaders. Rather than having separate shaders for all feature variations, features such as bump-mapping can be turned on or off as needed.
  • Many new API functions and Scene variables.
  • All new editor transformations. This allows the movement of huge s (million plus polygons) within the editor without delays.
  • Launch of Esperient Creator Enterprise which includes all of the new functions added to version 3.7 plus support for Motion tracking, Stereo Displays, Networking and Sockets.
